Allianz Tannery is established with the alliance of the 3rd generation of Sepici Family,a pioneer in Turkish Leather Industry and the prominent chemical company Herkim Group.Two companies joined forces by utilizing their experiences in leather and chemical sectorsto start a robust and efficient tanning facility much-needed in national leather indusrty. The tannery is started operation in 2017 in Bursa Leather Organized Region and continues providing high-quality tanning services.

Effluent & Waste Management

To protect the water ecosystem, wastewater generated from the tannery is pre-treated by in-house physical filtration carried out by Allianz then transferred to CETP operated by Bursa Leather Organized Region which is constantly operational and controlled by legal authorities. Solid wastes and fleshings are sent to recovery and licensed disposal facilities in accordance with regulations.

Energy & Water Conservation

Our objective is to use the minimum energy and water for leather production. Our current water consumption 15 liters for 1 kg of hide processing which is a high efficient number according to the benchmaking data for global tanneries.
